Shae Peppler and Alexandra Euler are the co-founders of Fashion’s Fight Against Cancer. When breast cancer rocked their inner circle affecting family and friends, they created this event to combat this horrific disease and try to make a difference. A night out with entertainment was the perfect opportunity to attract their twenty-something friends with an affordable event where their proceeds could go to something that really mattered.
A few years and FFAC’s later, Shae’s little sister was diagnosed with Stage 4, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation immediately reached out to help make cancer a little less heartbreaking for Shae’s entire family. When the girls learned that very few events and foundations in Chicago focused on helping sick kids, they reached out to Bear Necessities to help fight cancer in another arena. Bear Necessities is solely focused on children, and is truly a one-of-a kind foundation. They connect with families on a personal level to help them in any way they can.
Six years strong, Shae and Alexandra hope this year is better than ever, not just a better event but a better opportunity to raise more money for the kids. After all, that’s why they started FFAC in the first place – to make a difference. Learn More
